Inspired by nature

Judy Metcalfe Textile Artist uses nature to create beautiful art pieces and scarves via eco printing and embroidery. Eco printing is a technique using leaves and flowers, which Judy collects from her thriving cottage garden, to imprint on fabric using heat.

Judy works with various plants including rose, geranium, strawberry, wild raspberry and eucalyptus. The pieces are created on different types of silks and wool fabrics, embellished with intricate hand or machine stitching.
